SPS Community,
This morning, there have been social media rumors about a possible violent event that occurred at one of Sterling Public Schools’ buildings. The SPS Administration has been in touch with Sterling Police Department and we can both attest that these rumors are not true. These rumors were most likely started due to an event that occurred early this morning involving Sterling Police Department and a stolen vehicle on SPS’ property. What is important to note is that this incident causes no threat to any SPS Student and/or Staff, and as a result, our school day will continue to progress as normal.
