6th Grade Blue- Good evening here are some details for the week for the blue team. On Monday we will be having practice 3- 4:30. Tuesday we have an away game at lasalle Lincoln, bus will be leaving CMS at 2:45, they will be released from class at 2:30. We play the first game at 4:30 and will be returning to CMS after the game. Due to the length of the trip and how hungry players-and myself- were last year I plan on stopping at McDonalds before we make the return trip. Please if you could send some money with your child that would be super awesome. I will of course not let any child go hungry but would appreciate if you could send money. CMS Gold has an additional game home on Wednesday but we DO NOT. Blue team will be practicing till about 4:15. We will practice Thursday 3 - 4:30. We then have our tournament on Saturday per my previous message. Thanks.
The following is the schedule for the tournament both 6th grade teams will be playing on Saturday the 11th. Not this weekend but next, each team is guaranteed 2 games. CMS blue will need to arrive 8:30 for our game at 9, gold will need to be there at 9:30 for the game at 10. This will be conveyed to the players next week before we have the tournament.

Wanted to update you on the happenings for this week. On Monday we will be playing at 4:00 in Byron. We will be taking a warrior wagon and we will be leaving the athletic center at 2:30. Please make sure you have all your stuff and ready to go. I imagine students will be released at 2:15. Tuesday there will be no scheduled activities due to it being Halloween, everyone stay safe and warm! On Wednesday we will have another away game in Polo. Games in Polo are played at the grade school ; it can get a little confusing if you are not aware of this. The bus for Polo will be leaving the athletic center at 3:00. On Thursday we have team pictures at 3:00, I have to double check the procedure for ineligible students who would normally be at study table. Practice will happen after pictures and we will also have practice on Friday. Normal times of 3-4:30 for both Thursday and Friday. A quick reminder that ineligible students cannot ride on the bus to away games, get to study table and get those grades up! I will keep you posted on any changes and a quick reminder that if you wish to take your child home from away games you must first sign them out with myself.

This message failed to send last night so I am attempting again now. Both Gold and Blue will be playing at home tonight. Gold needs to be at the athletic center by 3:30 dressed and stretched. Blue will need to be at the athletic center at 4:30. Players can arrive earlier if they wish to cheer on gold.
Wednesday game- gold is away, coach James will announce at the game tonight what time players will be leaving the school tomorrow on the warrior wagon. Blue will be home again tomorrow night, players will need to arrive by 3:30. We will be having an A and B game. On Thursday both blue and gold are home. Blue plays the early game at 4, players by 3:30 in the athletic center changed and stretched and ready to go. Gold please arrive by 4:30. On Friday we will have normal 3-4:30 practice .

Wednesday, October 18 is a School Improvement Half Day for Sterling Public Schools. There is no Preschool on October 18. Franklin and Jefferson will dismiss at 11:30, Lincoln and Washington will dismiss at 11:20, Challand Middle School and Sterling High School will dismiss at 11:25.

CMS Co-Ed Soccer Parents: We were able to secure a float for the SHS Homecoming Parade. If your CMS soccer player would like to join the float for the parade, below are the details.
WHEN: Friday, October 6th Line up @ 3:00 pm, parade starts at 3:30 pm.
WHERE: Parking lot of 5th Ave across from the SHS cafeteria and adjacent to WACC.
Please ensure your athlete wears their CMS soccer jersey and if you have any signs or balloons for the float, please send them!
CMS Co-Ed soccer bus will be getting home at 7:40pm.
